Sujeet Kumar represents Odisha in the Rajya Sabha upper house of the Indian Parliament. In addition to political experience as a member of the Biju Janata Dal political party, Kumar is also a lawyer and a social entrepreneur.
Kumar has served as the Advisor to the Special Development Council of the Government of Odisha from 2019 to 2020 and Special Secretary of the Odisha State Planning Board from 2016 to 2019. He received his Masters of Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School.
