Keiji FURUYA (born in 1952) is a Japanese politician of the Liberal Democracy Party (JAPAN), and a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature). He is also the Chairman of Japan-ROC Diet Members’ Consultative Council, which has 291 councilors across party lines joined in.

Keiji FURUYA served as the Chairman of the National Commission on Public Safety, the Minister of State for the Abduction Issue, the Minister in charge of Building National Resilience, and the Minister of State for Disaster Management. 

Keiji FURUYA also served as the Chairman for the Committee on Rules and Administration.

In recent years, Keiji FURUYA has led several delegations to visit Taiwan and openly said that JAPAN supports Taiwan to join the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Tans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) and to be an observer in WHA.

Keiji FURUYA has delivered speech at Yushan Forum in Taipei for two consecutive years (2018-2019).
