About Us

The Yushan Forum: Asian Dialogue for Innovation and Progress, organized by the Taiwan-Asia Exchange Foundation (TAEF), serves as a platform for Asian regional dialogue and features the achievements of governmental and non-governmental cooperation between Taiwan and its neighboring countries and like-minded partners. Harnessing the unique experiences and common visions of Taiwan for regional prosperity, the Forum aims to foster social connectivity for global leaders of partner countries based on innovation and progress alongside promoting multifaceted partnerships through the New Southbound Policy (NSP).

With the World Health Organization (WHO) ending the global emergency status for COVID-19 on May 5, 2023, the world is now eager to move on and beyond. As such, the 2023 Yushan Forum will explore the prospects of “Start A New Blueprint for Asian Development.” Focusing on regional prosperity and stability, the Forum will feature the NSP’s accomplishments under the unique model of public-private-people partnership (P-P-P-P). It will be a gathering of policymakers and prominent leaders from Taiwan, the New Southbound countries, like-minded countries, and countries in the Indo-Pacific region to discuss pragmatic blueprints for fostering inclusive and resilient growth in Asia post-pandemic.
