The Executive Director of the Nippon Foundation, Ichiro Kawasawa, told The Storm Media that Japan currently hosts about 2,000 Ukrainian refugees, providing each with approximately $10,000 annually for three years and free accommodation. Prime Minister Fumio Kishida emphasized the geopolitical significance of Ukraine to Asia.
