Undersecretary Miranda is the DA’s Undersecretary for Finance, as appointed by His Excellency President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. She also serves as the I-Plan Component Head of the Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP) and thedesignated Chairperson of the Gender and Development Focal Point System (GAD FPS) in the Department. She is a seasoned Career Executive Service Officer and has been in government service for nearly three decades serving as a Planning Officer, Director and Assistant Secretary for the Planning and Monitoring Service of the Department. She also served at the National Anti-Poverty Commission where she worked on the integration of poverty reduction and social reform strategies in the development of the country’s policies, plans, programs, and advocacies. She earned her Master’s degree in Planning Studies from the University of Queensland in Australia and her Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness Management from the University of the Philippines Los Baños.
