Cheryl Lai, the chairperson of Radio Taiwan International (Rti), has been working in Taiwan and Hong Kong’s media for more than three decades. She was one of the founders of Association for Taiwan Journalists (ATJ) and Taiwan’s current Foreign Correspondents Club (TFCC). She also served as a culture attache in London from 2017 to 2019 and joined a cultural exchange project between Taiwan and Japan from 2019 to 2021. Besides her experience in media, she also contributed herself in various NGOs, including Taiwan’s Jane Goodall Institute and Taiwan Association for Human Rights.
