Mr. Hsiao is currently the Director of National Palace Museum of the Republic of China (Taiwan). He was formerly the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Culture (2018-2023). As a senior civil servant in the Ministry of Culture, he has served as the director of several important museums, including the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts (2001-2004), the National Taiwan Museum (2004-2012), and the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts (2015-2018). Mr. Hsiao earned a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from Chinese Culture University and a master's degree in Arts Administration and Management from Taipei National University of the Arts. With his extensive experience in museum management and a profound aesthetic literacy, Mr. Hsiao continually contributes his expertise to the leading institution in Taiwan's museum field, the National Palace Museum.
