Hon. Chin-Ching Liu has served as the Minister of the National Development Council (NDC) of Taiwan since May 20, 2024, focusing on advancing Taiwan's economic development and international cooperation.

Minister Liu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics from Chung Yuan University and an MBA from National Taiwan University. With extensive experience in corporate management and consulting, he has held key positions such as SCM Consultant Leader at IBM Greater China, General Manager of IBM Global Business Service, Partner & Vice Chairman at PwC Consulting, and Chairman of PwC Business Consultant Service in Taiwan. Additionally, he has served as a Professor-level Technical Expert at the Department of Accounting, National Chengchi University.

Since taking office, Minister Liu has actively promoted various policies, such as:

● The Bridge Project, fostering startup and enterprise collaboration between Taiwan and Japan;

● Talent recruitment in India, facilitating Taiwan-India AI industry talent exchanges;

● The establishment of a startup hub in Silicon Valley, strengthening Taiwan’s connection with the global startup ecosystem;

● Deepening cooperation with Lithuania, enhancing development in semiconductors and industrial innovation.
