Amb. François Chihchung Wu has served as the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chancellor since 2024. Prior to this role, he was a Representative of the Taipei Representative Office in France from 2018-2024, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in Taiwan from 2016-2018, and Commissioner of the International Affairs Committees in both Taipei and Taichung. He also served as the Director of the Research Center for Central and Eastern Europe (RCCEE) at Soochow University, the same university at which he was a professor for 17 years.
Amb. Wu completed his Ph.D. in Political Science at the Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne in France. He additionally holds two Master’s degrees in Politics & Diplomacy and Geopolitics.
