Hon. Dr. Yi-Jing LIN
Hon. Lin Yi-Jing is currently the Minister of the Ministry of Digital Affairs (MODA), Taiwan. Prior to entering public service, he was a technology entrepreneur and software engineer with more than two decades of experience in the digital industry. His work has focused on software innovation, digital infrastructure, and the development of emerging technologies. Before joining government, he held research and engineering roles in the technology sector, including positions at IBM’s Watson Research Center and Trend Micro.
At MODA, his work focuses on advancing Taiwan’s digital transformation, strengthening cybersecurity resilience, and promoting the responsible development of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Brown University and his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering from National Taiwan University.
