Dr. Der-Tsai LEE
Dr. Lee is currently President, National Institute of Cyber Security (NICS), President, Higher Education Evaluation and Accreditation Council of Taiwan (HEEACT), and Distinguished Visiting Chair, Institute of Information Science (IIS) & Research Center for IT Innovation (CITI), Academia Sinica. He also serves as Chair, Cybersecurity Officers Committee, Taiwan Innovative Software and Services Association (TISSA).
He was Professor of Computer Science, Northwestern University (1978-98), Program Director, CCR, National Science Foundation (1989-90), Distinguished Research Fellow & Director of IIS, Academia Sinica (1998-2008), President and Chair Professor of Computer Science and Engineering, National Chung Hsing University, Taichung, Taiwan (2011-15), and Senior Advisor for National Cybersecurity and Sci. & Tech. Policy at the National Security Council, Taiwan (2016-20).
He is Life Fellow of IEEE, Fellow of ACM, an elected Member of The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS), Academician of Academia Sinica, and a Humboldt Research Awardee (2007) of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, Germany.
