Hon. Dr. Solomon Passy is the Founding President of the Atlantic Club of Bulgaria, one of the country’s leading organizations promoting Euro-Atlantic cooperation. He previously served as Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Government of King Simeon II, during which time Bulgaria signed its NATO and European Union Accession Treaties.

He has also held several senior international and parliamentary roles, including Chairman of the United Nations Security Council and Chairman-in-Office of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). In Bulgaria’s National Assembly, he served as Chairman of the Parliamentary Committees on Defence and Foreign Affairs and as a Member of Parliament. He was also among the signatories of the democratic Constitution of the Republic of Bulgaria in 1991.

He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematical Logic and Computer Science.
