H.E. Dr. Lin Chia-Lung currently serves as the Foreign Minister of Taiwan, as well as Vice Chairman of the Taiwan Foundation for Democracy and Chairman of the International Cooperation and Development Fund. Previously, he served as the Secretary-General to the President from 2023 to 2024, Ambassador-at-Large in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2022 to 2023, Minister of Transportation and Communications from 2019 to 2021, and Mayor of Taichung City from 2014 to 2018.

H.E. Dr. Lin completed his Ph.D. in Political Science at Yale University, and previously earned a total of three Master's degrees in Political Science at both National Taiwan University and Yale University.
