Leah LIN
Leah Lin is the Founder and Executive Director of the Asia Citizen Future Association (ACFA), a Taiwan-based NGO dedicated to defending and expanding civic space in Taiwan and Southeast Asia through meaningful collaboration with local civil society organizations.
An experienced human rights practitioner, Leah works closely with human rights defenders at risk, focusing on strengthening cross-border civil society networks. Her work centers on developing sustainable, secure, and strategic infrastructures that support the long-term resilience of human rights movements across the region.
Leah plays a key role in positioning Taiwan as a base for transnational civil society engagement in East and Southeast Asia. She has actively advocated for policy and legal reforms in Taiwan, including de-authoritarianization of Taiwan’s NGO regulatory framework, while working with partners across Southeast Asia to advance protections for freedom of association.
