KJ Hsu is a judge at the Taipei District Court, Taiwan, specializing in national security cases, including espionage and infiltration trials. He has served as a visiting scholar at the U.S.-Asia Law Institute at the New York University School of Law and as a visiting fellow at the Global Taiwan Institute in Washington, D.C. His work focuses on legal warfare, rules of engagement in hybrid conflicts, and institutional reform to strengthen Taiwan’s legal resilience against foreign interference.
