Paul is the co-CEO of the ASEAN-Australia Strategic Youth Partnership (AASYP), a leading youth-led volunteer organization that promotes partnership between the ASEAN and Australian youth. AASYP’s flagship program is its annual ASEAN-Australia Young Leaders Forum which has been held in various countries including Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and the Philippines.

Paul was also a youth representative to the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade-funded Blue Security Program working group on a joint maritime security agenda for Australia and ASEAN.

Paul is a full-time lawyer by profession based in Brisbane, Australia, specializing in technology, data privacy, and intellectual property law. He advises telco companies, banks, hospitals, and communications providers on large-scale technology transformation projects, digital infrastructure projects, software licensing and cloud services, and data protection. He also has experience advising on Australian defence trade control under the AUKUS arrangement.

Paul was also a 2025 SEASAT delegate.
