Conference Report

Organized by the Taiwan-Asia Exchange Foundation (TAEF) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), the eighth annual Yushan Forum: Asian Dialogue for Innovation and Progress convened on 17–18 March 2025. The forum centered on the theme "The New Southbound Policy+: Taiwan, the Indo-Pacific, and a New World," highlighting Taiwan's continued commitment in value diplomacy, economic and trade diplomacy, and science and technology diplomacy under President Lai Ching-te's administration. Over the course of eight sessions and sideline events, the Yushan Forum brought together government agencies, foreign representative offices, business leaders, and non-governmental organizations, showcasing the collaborative Public-Private-People-Partnership (PPPP) approach that drives the Taiwan's influence and collaboration in New Southbound Policy (NSP) partner countries and like-minded nations across the Indo-Pacific region.
